What ships in v1.0
Reflexio launches with four reaction games, all designed for one-thumb play and millisecond-accurate timing:
- Lights Out — F1-style start. Five red lights, then tap when they go out. Measured in milliseconds. False start = disqualified.
- Flash Reaction — Pure visual reflex. Wait through a random delay, then tap the moment a full-screen color slam hits.
- Stop The Timer — Timing accuracy, not raw speed. Pick 5s, 10s, or 15s, then tap to stop the clock on the exact target. Perfect is 0 ms off.
- Don't Tap Red — Decision reaction. Green means go, red means wait. Wrong tap = fail. Sometimes the right reflex is to NOT react.
Four more games — Missing Flash, Sound Reaction, Target Appears, Traffic Light — are already in progress and ship in upcoming updates.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need to create an account?
No. Reflexio has no account system. The app starts working the moment you open it. There is no email, no password, no sign-in. Your personal bests are stored locally on your iPhone.
Where is my data stored?
On your iPhone, in a local SwiftData store inside the app's sandbox. It does not leave your device, except in your iCloud Backup if you have that turned on. See the Privacy Policy, §4 for full details. To turn off iCloud Backup for Reflexio specifically: iOS Settings → [your name] → iCloud → Manage Account Storage → Backups → [your device] → Show All Apps → Reflexio → toggle off.
Does it work offline?
Yes — 100%. Reflexio never requires an internet connection. There is no backend, no analytics, no ads, no IAP, no sign-in. Airplane mode is fine. If your device ever shows network activity from this app, please report it as a bug.
Are there ads or in-app purchases?
No, and there never will be. Reflexio is fully free, with no ads, no IAPs, and no premium tier. The full app is on the screen you see when you open it.
Why does the app ask for Photos permission?
Only if you choose to save a result share-card (a snapshot of your reaction time score) to your Photos library. The app never reads your existing photos — it only writes new images you explicitly save. You can deny the permission and the rest of the app works normally; sharing is just a convenience.
How does "Lights Out" work?
Five red lamps light up one by one with a beep, hold, then all go out. Tap the moment they go out — the first to react wins the launch. Average F1 driver reaction is around 200 ms. Top esports pros reach 150 ms. Where do you land?
What does "false start" mean?
Tap before all five lights go out and the run is disqualified. Just like a real F1 start. The timer resets, the result isn't recorded, and you start over.
How do I share my result?
After a run, tap the share icon on the result card. You'll see the standard iOS share sheet — Save to Photos, Messages, Mail, AirDrop, etc. The card is generated locally on your device; nothing is uploaded.
How is my personal best tracked?
Per game, the lowest valid reaction time wins. The personal best is shown on the game card on the home screen and on the result card after each run. There's no global leaderboard — this is a personal trainer, not a competitive game.
What haptic feedback does the app use?
Each game has a tuned haptic: a "lights go out" thud on Lights Out, a sharp tap on Flash Reaction, a soft confirmation on Stop The Timer, and a warning buzz on Don't Tap Red. Haptics can be disabled in Settings if you prefer silence.
Does it support Dark Mode and Dynamic Type?
Yes. Reflexio is designed dark-first (the dark theme is the default), but follows your system setting. Dynamic Type is fully supported — all text scales with your iOS text-size preference. Reduce Motion is also respected.
Does it support VoiceOver?
Yes. All games, buttons, result cards, and personal bests are VoiceOver-labelled. A blind or low-vision user can play every game and hear their result announced.
How do I delete my data?
Delete the app. The local SwiftData store is removed with it. There is no server-side account or copy of your data to clear.
Does it work on iPad?
Not natively at launch. The iPhone app can run on iPad in compatibility mode. A native iPad build is on the roadmap.
Does it work on Mac (Apple Silicon)?
You can run the iPhone app on a Mac with Apple Silicon through "iPhone apps on Mac" if your Mac runs macOS Sonoma or later. Full native Mac support is on the roadmap.
Is Reflexio a medical or health device?
No. Reflexio is a reaction-time training tool, not a medical device. It does not diagnose, treat, or measure any medical condition, and does not read or write Apple HealthKit data. The result cards are for fun and personal tracking only.
How do I report a bug?
Email oveshdev@gmail.com with the subject "Reflexio bug report". Include your iOS version, iPhone model, app version (Settings → About), and a screenshot or screen recording if possible. The developer replies to every bug report personally.
How do I request a feature?
Email oveshdev@gmail.com with the subject "Reflexio feature request". Short, concrete requests get the best response. "Add a hard mode to Stop The Timer" is more useful than "make it harder".
Can I see what's coming next?
Four more games ship in upcoming updates: Missing Flash, Sound Reaction, Target Appears, and Traffic Light. After that: a global stats view, custom haptics, and a per-game training mode. No public roadmap board at the moment.
System status
Reflexio is a local-only app with no backend, so there is no service status to report. If you can open the app and your best scores are there, the app is working. If something is broken on your device specifically, the bug report above is the fastest path to a fix.
Response time
Support is one person reading email. Typical response time is 24–72 hours, faster on weekdays. If your issue is preventing you from using the app, mark the subject URGENT.

For review codes, interviews, or partnership inquiries, email oveshdev@gmail.com with the subject "Reflexio press".
